Job Duties:

·         Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences

·         Plan menus and create grocery lists

·         Order and purchase food and supplies within budget

·         Ensure kitchen and cooking areas are clean, organized, and safe

·         Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies

·         Collaborate with childcare staff to ensure meals are served at appropriate times

·         Keep up to date with food safety regulations and best practices

·         Train and supervise kitchen assistants as needed
